Small AirBnB, Big Farmhouse Charm: Alamo Dwellings Unit D

Hi friend!  So glad you’re here.  Welcome!  We’ve been exploring all the spaces I’ve designed and we’re currently talking all things Alamo Dwellings.  Today we’ll explore Alamo Dwellings Unit D.  If you’d like to see Unit C, you can find it here.

And stay tuned!  At the end of this post, I’ll share a list of other spaces I’ve designed that have the same general feel as Unit D...there’s more to explore!  Can’t wait to share with you!

But for now...let’s do this Alamo Dwellings Unit D tourHere we go!

LIVING ROOM

When you walk into the space, you step right into the living room. This sofa was here when I arrived, so we worked it into the design plan. The “Blessed” wall decor was also here, so I built a design theme around it! A new rug from Costco (highly recommend Costco rugs!) and a super cute little coffee table from my favorite booth at one of my favorite flea markets...add some cute Farmhouse Style touches from the Target dollar section. This living room turned out so cute!

KITCHEN

Another super small space with everything someone could need to make a meal.  We put a small dining area in place with a fun wall decor arrangement that reinforced the Farmhouse Style.  Truly..the Target dollar section was GREAT for this project.  So much of this design came from that section and low cost items I found at Hobby Lobby.

I kept it super simple in the kitchen because space was limited.  But a 3 tiered plate stand in the corner that was styled well and a couple Farmhouse touches here and there and it was ready!

BATHROOM

This little space had a small bathroom with a shower/tub combo and a pedestal sink.  There wasn’t really any storage in this bathroom, so we utilized the closet in the bedroom to store towels and washcloths.  But there was a medicine cabinet, which was helpful for our guests!  I kept it very simple in here since it was a small space.  Using the accent color of turquoise really helped to tie this bathroom into the rest of the unit.

BEDROOM

Last but not least:  The Bedroom. This furniture was already in place when I got there, so I made it work.  I found the picture above the bed and knew immediately it would be perfect to tie it all together!  I added an area rug and some pillow shams to emphasize the colors in the picture and this bedroom was ready!  I also love the collage on the wall adjacent to the bed and that little black chair I found at the flea market.  So cute.  Floor to ceiling curtains make this room feel cozy and homey.  The little touches really do make all the difference.

THAT’S A WRAP

And that’s Alamo Dwellings Unit D!  This little Farmhouse space is so cute and was super successful on AirBnB.  It’s now a Furnished Finder space.

We’re two in on the five total of spaces in Alamo Dwellings!  Next week, I’ll share all about Alamo Dwellings Unit E.  It has a Modern Farmhouse feel and it’s really special.  Can’t wait to share it with you!

SIDE NOTE: Friend….I’m sure you can tell these images are not the greatest. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again…let this be an example to you of the power of professional photography. I’m not a photographer…and I wish so badly I had professional images of this space. It’s so important…make the investment! Totally worth it!
