Small AirBnB, Big Farmhouse Charm: Alamo Dwellings Unit D

Hi friend!  So glad you’re here.  Welcome!  We’ve been exploring all the spaces I’ve designed and we’re currently talking all things Alamo Dwellings.  Today we’ll explore Alamo Dwellings Unit D.  If you’d like to see Unit C, you can find it here.

And stay tuned!  At the end of this post, I’ll share a list of other spaces I’ve designed that have the same general feel as Unit D...there’s more to explore!  Can’t wait to share with you!

But for now...let’s do this Alamo Dwellings Unit D tourHere we go!

The rug in the living room came from Costco.  For real...if you ever get a chance to take advantage of Costco’s rug events...they have amazing prices on the best rugs!  Your toes completely sink into this rug.  It’s divine.

We did a wall-mounted SmartTV here and my husband built this super simple piece under the TV.  A few cute and eclectic pieces here and there and this living room was ready to go!

Looking for a GREAT, SIMPLE checklist to make sure you’ve got everything you need for your AirBnB? I’d love to share mine with you! I’ve designed and host 20+ short term rentals…and I have my system down to a science! Get a jumpstart with a great list….you can get it for FREE at the link below!

BEDROOM

Last but not least:  The Bedroom. This furniture was already in place when I got there, so I made it work.  I found the picture above the bed and knew immediately it would be perfect to tie it all together!  I added an area rug and some pillow shams to emphasize the colors in the picture and this bedroom was ready!  I also love the collage on the wall adjacent to the bed and that little black chair I found at the flea market.  So cute.  Floor to ceiling curtains make this room feel cozy and homey.  The little touches really do make all the difference.

SIDE NOTE: Friend….I’m sure you can tell these images are not the greatest. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again…let this be an example to you of the power of professional photography. I’m not a photographer…and I wish so badly I had professional images of this space. It’s so important…make the investment! Totally worth it!
