An AirBnB in Full Bloom

LIVING ROOM

When you enter the home through the front door, you walk right into the living room.  And you’re met with lots and lots of colors, two walls with creative and out-of-the-box collages and a leather couch full of comfy pillows to sink into!

As with all of the living rooms in my spaces, there’s a SmartTV and more than one seating option.  There’s a floor lamp, which provides alternative light options and a coffee table.  If you’ve been around for any amount of time, you’ve probably noticed that these are staple items that I incorporate one way or another no matter the size of a space.

KITCHEN

Back to the living room and down a small hallway...you find yourself in the kitchen and dining area.  This kitchen has all the basics: stove, microwave, washer/dryer, full-sized refrigerator.  You’ll also see we’ve got the stacked washer/dryer combo at the end of the kitchen. The cabinets are neatly supplied with all our guests will need for cooking and serving a meal.

BEDROOM

Straight ahead is the bedroom that has a queen bed. It didn’t originally have a queen, we actually started out with three twin beds in this home (which is what you’ll see in the picture below). The bedrooms are all very small, so a queen bed fills the room quite a bit. But we had a guest that requested a queen bed, so we made that arrangement for them and just kept it that way. Honestly, I am a firm believer in having at least one queen bed in an AirBnB...so I’m grateful we were able to make that work.

PRO TIP: In a small bedroom, consider using a daybed set up in order to make a queen bed fit. In fact, I’ve even done twin daybeds in super small or oddly shaped bedrooms so that sleeping arrangements could be made. Where there’s a will, there’s a way!

BATHROOM

Our final stop is down the last hallway that leads off the kitchen.  Welcome to the bathroom.  I wanted this bathroom to feel bright and light and happy.  And I really think that goal was achieved!  This shower curtain also came from Ikea and I can’t get enough of those happy flowers!  I found the yellow wreath at Target, as well as the hanging plant feature in the collage. Some small, simple rugs on the floor and this bathroom is set!

Super sweet little collage on the bathroom wall

I must give credit where credit is due: If you’re in the ABQ area and you’re looking for a photographer, check out Rosetta Ann Photography! She took all the photos of this space…in fact, she takes almost ALL my interior photos! She’s amazing!
